Kamruddeen has improved with TB treatment

Kamruddeen is a weaver by profession; he learned the art from his father, Mukhatar. Kamruddeen is 48 years old and lives in the village of Naipurwa in the Bhadohi district of eastern Uttar Pradesh, India. He suffers from tuberculosis and has been under treatment at the JSM Medical Clinic since October of 2011.

His wife stays home and takes care of the family while Kamruddeen receives treatment. They have four children (Rabia Bano, Razia Bano, Kuresha and Kamal).
