Ichchha wants to join the police force

Dear Mike,

Ichchha was born in the village of Rakhwa, Jaunpur, which is located in Uttar Pradesh, India. She graduated from JS Girls’ Intermediate College in June 2012 with a major in Arts. She is a tremendous student and stood First Division in the Uttar Pradesh Board Examination.

Her father, Phool, is a farm laborer and her mother, Phool Dey, is a housewife and a part-time farm laborer. Besides her parents, Ichchha lives with her grandparents (Rajpat and Dhan Dey), her brothers Suresh and Ramesh, and her sisters Meera and Moni.

She is very particular about her health and loves sports and exercise. She plans to be a police officer.

Ichchha is highly appreciative of the scholarship you have provided, Mike, and promises to take full advantage of the opportunity. She has enrolled in a three year B.A. program in a local college in the Tehsil of Mariahu, Jaunpur.
