Suman is setting up new trend for the girls in her area

Meet Suman Sagarwal.  Suman graduated from the JSM Girls’ Intermediate College.  She stood first Division in the Uttar Pradesh Board Examinations and scored 72% over all.

Suman has enrolled in the Post graduate Degree College in Mariahu and is pursuing a BS Degree in Arts.  Her electives are Ancient History, Philosophy and Education.  It will take her three years to complete her degree.  With her sharp intellect, she has unlimited potentioal if she is given opportunity.

She comes from the village of Rakhawa in Jaunpur district of Uttar Pradesh.  Her father Keshav is a farmer.  Her mother Pravawati is uneducated.  She has five brothers and sisters.  From this part of the world other girls like Suman typically do not get past the middle school.  Suman is ready to break the mold.
