Amina Bano was born in October 1956 in the village of Belwa in the Jaunpur district of eastern Uttar Pradesh in India. She is a housewife. Her husband, Munowar Ali, is a laborer working for $3.50 per day. They have three daughters and two sons.
Amina started feeling very week after she turned 50. Her feet started swelling and eyesight started getting weaker. She was diagnosed with Diabetes at the JSM Clinic, and has been under treatment at the Clinic since July 2009. She has been educated about the causes for developing Diabetes and how she should rearrange her life particularly about the diet and exercise. When told about what she should eat in each meal, she gave a sad smile and said she eats whatever she manages to get on a particular day. She did promise to become more careful particularly about Indian sweet dishes.
Your generous donation, Renee, will provide her with much needed medications for a period of 12 months. She is appreciative and thankful to you for that.
