Asharfi Devi’s hypertension is now almost under control

Asharfi Devi
Dear Sandra,

Asharfi Devi was born in 1931 in the village of Piparia in the Jaunpur district of eastern Uttar Pradesh in India.  She is a housewife.  Her husband Devraj Viswakarma is a village blacksmith. They have three children: Phoolchand, Pyarelal, and Manorama.

Asharfi has been suffering with persistent hypertension for a long time.  She was unaware of several mild strokes she suffered in the past.  She has been under treatment at JSM Medical Clinic since July 2010.  When she first walked in the Clinic, her blood pressure was so high that she was too incoherent to even describe her ailment. Under an expert physician care and proper medications her blood pressure has been largely brought under control.

Your generous donation, Sandra, will provide her with much needed medications for a period of 12 months.  She is appreciative and thankful to you for that.
