Tribhuvan was in a serious diabetic state

Dear Mike,

Tribhuvan was born in December 1956 in the village of Mahmoodpur Bareri, which is located in the Jaunpur district of eastern Uttar Pradesh, India. He is a farmer and has two daughters and one son with his wife.

Tribhuvan visited the JSM Health Clinic in 2009 with a very high sugar level. The physicians responded right away and monitored him for a few days.

He has been receiving care from the clinic ever since and has been educated about the causes of diabetes. He also was educated on how his own actions, specifically regarding diet and exercise, could help manage his health.

Meena was born in October 1966 in the village of Barai in the Kerakat district of eastern Uttar Pradesh, India. She is a housewife and her husband is a laborer working for $3.00 per day. They have three daughters and two sons.

Meena was diagnosed with diabetes at the JSM Clinic. She has been receiving treatment at the Clinic since November 2011. While there, Meena was educated about the causes for developing diabetes and how she should rearrange her life, particularly regarding diet and exercise.

Kamruddeen has improved with TB treatment

Kamruddeen is a weaver by profession; he learned the art from his father, Mukhatar. Kamruddeen is 48 years old and lives in the village of Naipurwa in the Bhadohi district of eastern Uttar Pradesh, India. He suffers from tuberculosis and has been under treatment at the JSM Medical Clinic since October of 2011.

His wife stays home and takes care of the family while Kamruddeen receives treatment. They have four children (Rabia Bano, Razia Bano, Kuresha and Kamal). She graduated from JS Girls’ Intermediate College during June, 2012 with a major in Arts. She works hard and was rewarded when she stood First Division in the Uttar Pradesh Board Examination.

Her father, Jameel, is a driver and her mother, Shameena, is a housewife that also assists the family by being a part-time tailor. Ayesha lives with her parents, grandparents (Nishar and Haseena), her brothers Taufeeq and Shakeel Ahmad, and her sisters Sayara, Nuraisha, Mahjabi, and Tanjeela – all in a small house.

Besides reading text books and related material in her spare time, Ayeha likes to help her mother in her tailoring work. She plans to be a teacher when she grows up.
